Rosewood
This yard was a renovation of an already existing landscape installation. The plants were being smothered and choked out by fabric & compacted soil. We opened up the soil to the fresh air, added compost, chose appropriate plants and covered the Earth with some organic, non-dyed mulch
Arrand Block
This is a heritage building located off of Broadway Ave in the heart of Saskatoon, SK. The yard was overgrown and we transformed the sad lawn into 90% garden space.

Erindale
We worked with this family from design to completion. This was a new build landscape installation focused on cozy outdoor living elements in the backyard. We needed to amend their soil and fix the mud problem often associated with new builds. For the front yard, we highlighted edible landscaping with full and lush plantings.

"I couldn't be more pleased with the work Common Ground YXE did for me! They worked with me to determine what best suited my needs and desires for a complete reimagining of my yard, and once the work began, they worked HARD. These are beautiful people living their values, and I am absolutely delighted with the results of their work."
Forest Grove
Not only did Cass and Taylor create a beautiful design using native plants suited to this environment, but they also created a gorgeous natural stone patio and walkway, and beautiful flower beds that flow with the odd shape of our yard. Our front yard went from dry, weedy and blah to having stunning curb appeal that definitely raised our property value.
Silverwood Heights
We worked closely with this family to plan and actualize their dream space. A space for entertaining and enjoyment. A space that you don't need a vacation from.

River Heights
This family was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They had a solid structure in place, having completed a few projects in their yard, but were not fully satisfied with their gardens...which is where we come in. After our initial meeting, we went ahead with a plan to enhance their already existing gardens while adding a few new ones as well. The adjectives used to describe their dream space were calm, artsy, scenic, prairie and beautiful. Once a plan was established, we were ready to replace areas of their struggling lawn with environmentally friendly gardens and spruce up their existing gardens.
Varsity View
This project was a full property installation where modern meets classic. From our initial meeting to the final install we enjoyed working with this couple to collaborate on their dream space. It has a whimsical yet timeless look while seamlessly bringing the indoor and outdoor environments together, strengthening the connection between the two.

Poplar Cresent
This lovely traditional property is situated on Poplar Cres in Saskatoon. These homeowners have been renovating and remodeling the entire house, beyond it's original beauty. Remaining true to the spirit of restoration, their hardscapes are made from reclaimed brick pavers. This material matches the aesthetic and architecture of the home, seamlessly connecting the indoor and outdoor landscape.
Queen Elizabeth
This was a front yard transformation, think "cottage garden gone wild with permaculture." From design to build, we worked with this family to make their space a haven for nature and people.
