Silverwood Heights
Inspired by the serene beauty of Saskatchewan parks, this front and backyard came to life as a 2023 design and build project! The development unfolded through a devotion to the natural world. Intentional design sets the tone for all projects. We thoughtfully integrate layout, materials and the natural surroundings to create a seamless connection between home and landscape. Bridging the interior and exterior spaces is essential. Our design and build projects are crafted for balance, maintained yet retaining the natural feeling. The plants weave together, bringing depth and texture to the space and softening the hardscapes. The cedar steps and natural stone walkway have gracefully aged, as if they’ve always belonged. It’s these timeless elements, paired with thoughtfully layered plant communities, that craft outdoor spaces you’ll never need a vacation from.
Elements:
Natural stone walkway
Custom two-tiered cedar deck
Custom cedar landing steps with railing
Perennial gardens
Dry creek for stormwater management
“Last summer, Common Ground designed and installed new yards for us. Our backyard is no longer just the place where the barbecue is. I’ve never been more eager to get out and enjoy the outdoor living spaces that they created. They took our vague ideas and made something that suited us perfectly.”
