A front and side yard design and build project in which we renovated the lawn by removing it all. Throughout the whole process, this family was a joy to work with. We started with their winter design in which we worked together to get all the details just right. They were looking for a prairie pollinator garden that had beautiful blooms throughout the season and would be beneficial for the environment.

Once the design was complete, we solidified a date for the warm season installation. The front and side yard started out with mostly turf grass. The requests were to remove the lawn and create those perennial gardens that would be home to the flowers, bees and butterflies. We added a variety of species with different bloom times, colors and textures. As these plants mature, they’ll offer not just beauty but serve a vital role in the living ecosystem. From green carpet to perennial delight, this is now a space they can love and watch bloom.
