Riversdale

Projects with community connections are always wonderful to work on. A full design and build project, there was a desire for a more beautiful and enjoyable space. One that would be inviting and beautiful. We focused on creating an entryway and surrounding elements that would welcome the couple into their home after a long day. We transformed a felled tree on the property into hugelkultur beds that now produce fresh, edible mushrooms year after year. Multi-functional plantings serve visual, practical and ecological roles, supporting multiple functions. The result is a drought tolerant landscape that thrives in our climate and provides abundant habitat for pollinators and pleasure for people.
