Massey Place

Once an overgrown and weedy meadow at the corner of a suburban street, this front yard held quiet potential. The family wanted to improve the state of their yard and were seeking more than a manicured lawn. They were in search of a space that would hold interest through every turn of the Saskatchewan seasons. We were the team who could transform their yard to include this four season interest while remaining aligned with their vision for a pollinator friendly space. Their grounded dream turned into a living reality, rooted in reciprocity and care for the local ecosystem. Overall, it’s now a nature getaway in the heart of suburbia. The site now reads as a conversation alive with human care and ecological intelligence. A few years later, they were almost done with a new addition to their home when they reached out for landscaping around the addition. We replicated the ideas and implementation completed in the first phase. It’s now fully at home, with stunning curb appeal.

“I couldn’t be more pleased with the work Common Ground YXE did for me! They worked with me to determine what best suited my needs and desires for a complete reimagining of my yard, and once the work began, they worked HARD. These are beautiful people living their values, and I am absolutely delighted with the results of their work.”
